A Selection of Recent Websites:

An established Bridal shop in Enfield

The owners of this villa wanted a website that can show off the villa to help potential guests know as much as possible about what they offer.

This site was designed focusing on optimisation and after only a few weeks the site is already 12th in the organic listings.

A residential letting agent covering Manchester. This is a clean site focusing on properties and relevant information.

This agent offers sales and rental properties and with a striking logo we used a plain white background to compensate.

A great sexy black based site for this bridal shop based in Cumbria. Cheryl was one of the businesses affected by the severe floods last year and had to relocate to new preimises as hers could not be fixed. The new site tied in with her new launch and we wish her well.

New General Manager

From Tuesday 4th January 2011 ISSL will have a new recruit. Paul and Lisa have created a new position of General Manager and this role has been filled by Carl Ogden.

Carl is coming from a managerial background and has a lot of experience in the technical world. This appointment will allow Paul and Lisa to be out of the office more meeting new and existing clients and also developing the business. Naturally it will take him some time to get to know everything and of course all our clients, but we are sure he will be a great asset to all of us.

Websites and Social Media

I mentioned this in Octobers newsletter, yet it seems that some people are still being either paying silly money for websites that should not cost a lot, or a very cheap option that simply doesn't deliver. We are very good at designing and building websites and we do not charge the earth. ALL our sites are given basic search engine optimisation and built to cuurent standards and comply with the legal requirements as standard.
Please give us a call before you make any decisions about a new website. If you have been offered a new site we will give you our honest opinion on the deal and if we cannot beat it we will tell you.

Audio Tours Success
I am pleased that following my last newsletter a number of agents have chosen to offer their vendors Audio Tours, not surpisingly at the great offer of the first 5 for just ?99. One agent is not only displaying them on the website but has digital photo frames with speakers in his window that plays them! Vendors are loving them as they are so inexpensive and a great way to show off.

Audio Tours have enabled agents to:
  • Increase their listings conversion rates by between 11 ? 17%
  • Increase CTRs (Click through rates) on portals by 60%
  • Increase new revenues from existing vendors (sell AudioTours to give properties a lift)
  • Increase new revenues from new vendors (sell AudioTours at valuations for an upfront fee)
  • Generate new leads from AudioTours directly sent to the branch manager to follow up
  • Enhance their listings and online presence
  • Grow local market share

To view an Audio Tour look at Wallis Estates a newish agent in Freckleton, Preston. For more information on tours look at our Audio Tours page or give us a call.

Support Access

All clients can access the support system and check the status of any support requests by logging into it. All you need is your email and if you have not used it before click the password reminder option and an email will be sent to that email account with it and you can then login.
All support requests from your email will be shown.

BackUps

This week one of our clients got a virus on their main computer that ran Jakx. Fortunately, they backed up to our servers on a regular basis and so once their IT person sorted access to another PC out we were able to reinstall Jakx and restore the backup and all was well. Many of you though we are noticing are backing up but to the same computer!

I cannot stress enough that this is not useful. A backup must be to an external source, this can be ISSL, A memory stick, a CD/DVD anything that is not in the building. If you only backup in house and you have a theft or fire ALL data will be lost. If you need any further advice please raise a support request
